Sometimes I try to listen to some SoftWhiteUnderbelly videos while driving. I have an iPhone. If the map app is giving occasional spoken directions, the SoftWhiteUnderbelly doesn't pause its audio. I have to reverse the video to hear what I missed. Try the Audible or Spotify iOS apps to see how apps are supposed to respond to interruptions. They pause their audio when map directions are spoken or when a phone call is answered. This is normal. Not pausing audio for these interruptions is a poor user experience. It also causes distracted driving which led me to not listen to the videos while driving.
I consider $10/month to be premium and I expect the iOS app act like normal iOS apps. This is important. Is there a plan to update the iOS app for this basic functionality? I don't mean to complain. I hope that my feedback is useful.
Thank you.
