Just started watching the interview with Orion Taraban. In some ways, I agree, but in others, he is so far off-base. I perceive his approach as very superficial. Most people do tend to be superficial in how they examine core drives, but these core drives come from a deep place. Understanding the core drives requires deep thinking. I'm a deep thinker and couldn't disagree with Taraban more on some of these ideas. For example, what do women want? There is a core driver for what women want. Understanding that core drive means defining what women want can be fairly straightforward. It just requires deeper thought than most people are capable of. I'm a mental health counselor and I have a very different perspective on these things.
